It cost Margaret 10 guineas to join and her subs for 1970 were 9 guineas.  The receipt was signed by Frank Lindley, the secretary.  It would have cost a man 10 guineas for the year’s subscriptions. If Margaret had joined a year earlier her subs would have been only 7 guineas.
