Corhampton Golf Club, situated 10 miles south of Winchester in southern Hampshire, dates back to 1885 and is one of the dozen oldest golf clubs in England. Corhampton Golf Club is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, enjoying stunning views across hills, valleys and woodlands.
In the early days it was a real ‘downland’ course, with many natural hazards but without any artificial ones with the only attention the fairways received being from the sheep which grazed the land. It was one of the duties of the groundsman to walk around every morning with a long hazel stick ‘swishing’ the sheep droppings off the greens.
Corhampton Golf Club vision has always been to provide both members and guests with a quality golfing experience, within a friendly and welcoming environment on one of the best courses in Hampshire. The course plays 6378 yards off white tees, 6082 off yellows and 5788 off reds. A combination of natural contours, mature woodland and artfully placed bunkers provides a test for low and higher handicappers alike
